Container Base Image Plan 3

Scope: DNS cutover and decommission of the old Alpine build. Only begins after Erik has approved the new Debian-slim deployment (Plan 2 Task 4 gate). Prior plan: Container Base Image Plan 2

Task 1 — DNS cutover

Once Erik has approved the new build (Plan 2 Task 4 gate passed), flip DNS to point to the new Debian-slim build.

  1. Update the DNS record for librechat.uvilo.ai to point to the new Debian-slim build’s Railway service
  2. Verify librechat.uvilo.ai resolves to the new build and works correctly
  3. Wait for DNS propagation (or as needed)

Task 2 — Verify and stabilize

Confirm the new build is stable at the production URL before tearing down the old one.

  1. Verify all MCP servers still work at the production URL
  2. Verify chat, git operations, and Forge scripts work at the production URL
  3. Monitor for 24 hours (or as Erik deems sufficient) for any issues

Task 3 — Moved to Plan 4

Decommission of the old Alpine build has been moved to Plan 4, which is deferred (no timeline set).
